Tony Stewart started the year struggling to find his feet. The last two months, however, the co owner of Gene Haas Tony Stewart Racing has really been driving in overgear to climb up the Sprint Cup Standings.

Smoke has put up an impressive top 10 finish in six of his last eight starts which has propelled him to 9th place and given him a small buffer in the Chase for the Cup. It has only been 5 seasons since his last championship in 2005, but Stewart is looking in similar form to his winning year. While last year the driver of number 14 started strong and faded at the end of the year, he is doing the opposite this season and coming on strong around the halfway mark.
