Tony Stewart of Gene Haas Tony Stewart Racing enjoyed a rare pole position start this past weekend at Pocono Raceway and was able to capitalize on the opportunity for a second place finish. While he fell just short of the win, Smoke was able to bump himself up another place in the standings to 8th with 15 races to go in the season.

Ryan Newman Fights For A Place In the Chase

Ryan stared the day in Pennsylvania in 5th place but was only able to hold on for a 12th place finish. The second driver for Gene Haas Tony Stewart is fighting hard to move up the standings to get above the threshold for the Chase for the Cup. This left him in 15th place overall but still within striking distance of 138 points.
